The Road to Kamloops

The drive from Banff, Alberta to Kamloops, British Columbia is quite possibly the most breathtaking drive in North America!  Ok, I haven't actually been on all of the other roads just yet, but if a better one exists then I need photographic evidence ( kind of like Bob and the bears ).

Here are some of Bob's pictures so you can decide for yourself.

One of the cool things you see on the road up north are big log trucks hauling giant trees.  I've been trying to get a picture of them for a while as we drive along.  The last attempt caused a chip in our windshield from a rock or large wood piece thrown by the truck.  Moral of this story, don't drive slow stalking trucks on interstates.  The pictures don't turn out too good anyway when you are that close.  Another of life lessons learned on the road!
